If you are gluten free , try Mrs Bread . You can order in advance via telephone and her breads freeze very well (as long as you freeze same day). Love the fresh fruit juices from the market .
This is one of my favorite markets in South Africa. Great vibe with live music . If you like spicy food , try the masala dhosa at Chai 's place - excellent and highly recommended!
The food is nice, I think the coffee and food has more love and time put into the taste and preparation within the market in the small restaurants than in the big one with the trays. Chilled time .
Hidden gem . From keto foods to African crafts and everything in between. A must visit place. Open Thursday and Saturdays .
Lots of Nic nacks for sale, food on sale is postured as healthy, if the venders eat from the same kitchen I don't believe the health food story. It's expensive fun and worth a visit
Overall very pricy . Try the dosas and chai at Meeras. There's a wonderful stall where you can purchase a flexible wire lotus made by disadvantaged women.
Life is too short to deal with service at the main tea garden , but best place to sit. Order a Mysore Masala Dorsa on the other side of the market and get it delivered to the main tea garden .
Truly a food fair ! Wide selection, but massive crowds. Shop for organic produce and baked goods , or sit down at the outdoor cafe for a big African brunch and coffees :)
Bettina's Cafe is a great place for breakfast . Try the Italian / Health Roll. Pick your fillings, add coffee or fresh juice on the side. +- R85 for two people. Great value !
Take some time just to walk around and have a coffee . Everything is awesome and very relaxed.
Best quiche and salad and homemade lemonade at Bettina's cafe .
The main cafe (where the music is) should be avoided - if you don't have the patience of Job. Order somewhere else and eat there is the best.
Looking for fresh organic veggies and herbs for my pre race salmon dish #OrganicMarket #BryanstonMarket #FarmersMarket

My fav breakfast here is the Mysore Masala Dorsa and Chai . Then sit under the trees . Avoid the main food outlet though.
