Impressed by this hotel restaurant . The clam chowder and the pot roast were both delicious. We had yummy pancakes for breakfast . Good coffee . Prices may seem high, but portions here are HUGE.

The food is very tasty traditional American style (aka huge portions ). The wait staff is very friendly . The view is excellent.

For dessert , marionberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream is yummy Ask for whipped cream as well or it will come plain. Delicious & hot! Eat quickly before I've cream melts or get it on the side too.

Clam chowder more like Wow chowder . Definitely a unique recipe and light years ahead of anything Local hero Ivar ever thought up.

I tried Kells tip and it saved what would have been a horrible desert . If you want cobbler don't get this. It was a bowl of Marion Berry soup ,Suitable only for drizzling over the top of the ice cream .

Best eggs Benedict !
