Worth a journey if you don't want to spend all day hiking the Samaria gorge. The journey downhill takes about 2 hours. At the end there is a pleasant cafe and an awesome ride to take you back:)

Fantastic 3 hour walk, half the length of Samaria . Go in the morning or late afternoon so most of the walk is in the shade - between rocks or under trees . Walk from top to bottom and get a lift back

Most beautiful place can be found around 3km from the north entrance. Don't turn back in the middle when you come from the south entrance or you will miss it!

Take your time - it's an easy walk and too beautiful to rush.
