Just spent a weekend in Ayr.A party of 7 Stopped in at Smiths for a few drinks. Went back later for a lovely meal. Good food and attentive staff . Highly recommended.
Excellently priced midweek lunchtime menu . Steak pie full of meat, rather than gravy , a bit skimpy with the vegetables however. Friendly staff . Standard beer .

Good traditional local pub in heart of Ayr. Good simple menu for food. Beers on offer could be a little more imaginative than just Tennents - Clark Gillies
