Blenheim Palace Woodstock Oxfordshire OX20 1PX United Kingdom
Really beautiful grounds ! Dog friendly outside of the palace . The palace interior was beautiful, but only one floor to walk in. The Ai weiwei exhibition was random & out of place in its surroundings.
If you are traveling to Oxford or the Cotswolds you owe it to yourself to visit Blenheim Palace. The home of the Duke of Marlboro is one of the grandest homes in England not belonging to the Queen.
Come in through the Woodstock gate for a breathtaking and unique view of the house and grounds - £25 seems a lot but it's great value
Don't miss the cafe , the cakes are delicious. Especially the carrot cake . They also do soy milk and gluten free cakes .
Stunning estate and grounds . Don't just enjoy the palace . Venture out to the fountains and walk about to the various gardens .
The lakes of Blenheim Palace were used for a brief scene in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) in which Harry looks into Prof. Snape's memories and sees him being bullied by James Potter
Massive✌🏻️absolutely amazing place ❤️
Great venue for events what a house and the gardens amazing
It is a good place to visit, it is a with to go there and have fun
It's a spectacular house and the ancestral seat of the Dukes of Marlborough. If you are anywhere nearby you must visit.
Gardens , exhibitions , walks and jousting. Afternoon tea time was very enjoyable, too.
They filmed the Buckingham Palace scenes here for The Young Victoria.
Stroll all parts of the grounds or catch a concert event . Awesome place
Public footpaths run through the grounds , use these to access the grounds for free. They charge a fortune if you pay at the gate.
Amazing! You have to spend the hole day in here to see everything in this wonderful place.
Amazing place. The maze is great. Guided tour worth going on. Food in restaurant good.
Use one of the various 'public gates' around the perimeter for FREE access to the grounds . ;)
Set in 2100 acres of parkland, the exquisite palace is surrounded by gardens & the magnificent Lake . Inside, visitors can see hand-painted ceilings & porcelain collections, tapestries and paintings .
Absolutely stunning Christmas set up. Well worth it...
You can walk around the grounds for free. Lovely picnic area in summer.
Michelangelo Pistoletto exhibition is a must see
Very impressive - inside can be a bit crowded
Nice walks towards the Lakeside. Check out the waterfall right in the top left corner.
Beautiful palace and gardens .
Lovely place - don't be put off by the overly officious staff - it's still well worth a visit.
Stunning home and property. Don't miss Churchill's velvet pajamas and slippers tucked partly behind a door in his exhibit .
10k (ish) run loop from Bladon Gate, around the lake , up to behind the monument and back. Great for a sunny July evening.
Discounted entrance fee if staying at Bladon Chains Caravan Site
Beware the coated dragon who shouts at you about taking pictures. Share the love Blenheim
You can exchange your palace and garden ticket for an annual pass for free, after your first trip.
Beautiful Christmas light show.
A beautiful setting for a long, romantic Sunday walk. <3
Don't miss the birds of prey demonstration
Skip the "untold stories" portion of the tour
Get the annual pass to enable unlimited access for the cost of one full ticket
Would suggest wearing boots post September!
Sightseeing!
Loved the Mediterranean Garden !
Big house in the country
Красивый дворец . Но не очень понятно куда идти. При входе если не пойти сначала налево то не попадёте на второй этаж . А там тоже интересно.
Es hermoso, el mejor lugar para hacer picnic , se puede ir en bus desde oxford (S3)
Роскошнейший дворец . Великолепный сад .
Precioso lugar! Me gustó más que Windsor Castle. Dedíquenle todo el día si pueden.
