I'm not a lover of pub food but I was very surprised how good the food was and not too heavy. Big portions , great vibes, very big place with outside area and very helpful staff . 10/10!!

A must do for every trip to Byron. Great cider (Hills ) on tap , relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space. Bathrooms could use more frequent cleaning though.

Classic byron spot to settle in for the evening. But if you want some save some cash, go to the bottle-o beneath and have a few sneaky cans on the beach .

The beach hotel has underdelivered for close to 20 years and has taken advantage of its location and day trippers but it may have finally turned the corner. Let’s see if it lasts.

Go on Sundays. Lisa Hunt is probably doing her stuff for half of the Gold Coast or Brisbane types (who've come down for the day to release their inner pseudo tie dye). Prefer pins in me eyes.

Great spot with a nice summery bar area. Good spot to chill and look out over the water.

The stone and wood beer tastes similar to fermented pineapple juice . Good if you like that sort of thing.

Food is a bit, well , nasty. Trades on position alone, but nice shade in the day.

Nothing nicer on a warm sunny day than having a vino out the back staring out to the sea with good company :)

Wedges with sour cream !

Sunday afternoons are packed with tourists and "locals". Try "The Rails" for the real deal.

Noise all night long. Room full of flies. Drunk people pounded on my door three times during the night looking for someone else's room. Wouldn't go back.

Nice place but not for breakfast

The waffled wedges are awful. Stick to the hot chips . There's hardly any potato left.

go to the beachie and do some quality people watching as the tourists head to and from the beach
