No.1 Italian restaurant in Beijing , the olive oil ,the vinegar, the cheese ,the bread ,the fillet ...super good !
Located in a buzzing hutong vegetable market , best italian food , best interior and ambience in town . Small but everything is almost perfectly done. Good for dinner .
There are no bad choices on the menu. Mercante would be one of the best Italian places in NY said my Italian friend from NY whose extended family operates several restaurants in NY.
A little piece of northern Italy just got very lost in the form of this rustic trattoria, a perfect fit for old hutongs. Freshly made tortellini is the order of the day.
Pastas in the hutongs, who would've thought. Perfect homey spot for homey Italian food . The homemade pasta is the best in Beijing. Read more
Every dish was delicious! We especially loved the homemade pasta and Parma ham with parmigiana .
Fresh ingredients - try their beef fillet , potatoe & pork belly tortelli , and their second to last dessert on the menu (coffee & rum flavored ice cream with bread ) simply amazing!
The staff , the quaintness , location and above all good is fabulous. Recommend to any westerner and to top it off its relatively priced
Magical place with fantastic Italian food . Try the cheese platter and the steak tartare .
I especially loved wine matching! The food was amazing, and they have such a nice manager.
Absolutely great. had the wild boar with Polentaand and Pannacotta.Great atmosphere. love this place. back tomorrow:-))
Overall good food. The pumpkin & chutney ravioli are succulent! My rare steak had burnt taste though... And we were not served bread even if we ordered the same as the table near us...
Lovely homemade pasta and assorted Italian classics .
Expensive yes but really good. (Warning: I tried this place after New York Michelin restaurants but before I visited Italy😳😳😳😳)
Il Mercante has the best panna cotta in Beijing. This tasty treat is served with a tart raspberry and basalmic vinegar sauce . Wow.
Like others already said, the panna cotta is really great!
Can’t go wrong with the duck ragu .
One of the best place for real Italian food in town
Hands down the best panna cotta I tried in Beijing
Tortelli are great!!!! Also the other dishes!!!
Lovely place and service. Great Food.
Try the pheasant tortelli , they are truly amazing!
this place is overrated. food wasn't fresh, seemed like a lot of food was pre-prepared frozen or came out of a jar. service was awful and the ambiance wasn't anything special, aircon wasn't working.
O and best tiramisu in BJ.
Amazing once they get their ac fixed for the summer
I loved it

O restaurante é pequeno e simples. Pedi um pappardelle com ragu de pato e estava gostoso. A panacotta com framboesa é muito boa! Mas eu tinha uma expectativa q não se confirmou.
Great place, excellent service and food, just a bit pricy...for vegetarian not that much option - Henry Yin
Unpretentious fine dining. Worth paying a visit. Very good wine selection, food is amazing - Piero Pollio
Beautiful at sunset. Try some of the bars with a rooftop terrace if the weather is good. The view is worth it. - Kristina Tsanova
