Built in 460 BC, with 34 columns, the Temple of Juno was still intact in 1500, then crumbled due to earthquakes. In 1787, a local nobleman reassembled 30 columns and placed capitals atop 16.
Start at this end of the valley and it's all downhill.

The new (summer)evening opening times are from 19.30 till midnight. ( which is nicer than during the day as less hot) Prepare for a long walk. Definitely worth the visit. - Egita Di Filippo
