It can be a little intense as you tend to get swarmed the deeper you venture in. However there was a lot of unique and interesting locally made items and was worth the visit.
The straw market is mostly local art and crafts but you can get all sorts of goods there. There is also lots of bars and restaurants around the area.
When your stopped in Nassau come here and get something locally made and experience what haggling is really all about.
Great place to interact with the locals. However every merchant will try to sell you their items. Be prepared!
Shop around. Most places have the same items. Someone will always be cheaper. Even tell them who was cheaper and they will best the other vendors price.
Do your best to haggle ! Best spot to get souvenirs but they don’t really sell postcards

Don't even think to buy anything here for price that they tell you . Bargain ! And be self confident. Give them your price . They drop it up to 80% for sure .

Tex-Mex tacos are great, any alcohol will work. For a bit of heat, try a Jalapeño Margarita. Staff is fun. Good service. - Kevin Gilhooly
