It is a little old fashioned diner w/ an L-shaped counter, stools & a few tables. Open for breakfast and lunch & seems to always have a table wait. The cafe is now owned by Emma Jean & Richard's son.
Emma Jean's is good diner food ! On Route 66 in the middle of nowhere but worth the effort! Owner is very nice! Brian burger and Truckers Special were both really good. True small diner !
Didnt bring cash and they wre nice enough to let us eat first:) then we webt to the nearest gas station to get cash back, thx guys great food an very polite people.
Opened by Bob & Kate Holland in 1947 on Route 66 in Victorville, CA. It is now the oldest surviving restaurant in the Victorville area.
An amazing, very authentic stopover on route 66. Definitely a don't miss if you are looking for the 66 experience :) (oh, and food is awesome, too)
We ate here our next to last day in Victorville and wish we would've found this place sooner. We can't wait to eat here again when we return to Victorville in about three months.

In 1979 it was bought by Emma Jean & Richard Gentry. Emma Jean had been a waitress at the cafe & the restaurant was renamed Emma Jean's Holland Burger Cafe.
Step into the past at this wonderful family-owned cafe on historic Route 66. Opens early in the morning, but closes by 2:45. Bring cash.
Try the Patriot but be prepared to unhinge your jaw to eat it!
