Feeding the giraffes is an awesome experience! $2 is kind of pricy but it's worth it! You don't realize how tall the giraffes are until you get on the deck.
Don't bother paying the $2 surcharge to go on the deck--you get a better view of the giraffes , zebras, and ostriches on the lower part

I grew up in the north near the Bronx Zoo. however, in comparison to the North Carolina Zoo, the Bronx Zoo is dirty with litter and garbage. it smells bad and isn't spacious. the NC Zoo is amazing! - maddie smith
