Nice campground but can get noisy , even though quiet hours are 10 pm to 6 am. Be prepared for generators , hikers getting up at 3:30 am. Lots of Elk ! Saw 24 total around campground , two large males!
Was there in April, didn't need any reservations but I can imagine you'll need it in the summer. No hookups, just plain camping (great!), but in a lovely location! Elks and deer everywhere!
Great campground . We stayed in Juniper loop. You can get ice and food at the market in the village . Pay showers and laundry near the entrance to the campground .
Stay 2 or more days at the Grand Canyon and camp at this beautiful campground . It is very close to the General store if you need to buy ANYTHING. Less than 10 minutes away from the Grand Canyon.
If tent camping , stay in Pine Loop. No generators or RVs allowed. It makes for a quiet and relaxing experience!
Loved to be able to dump and get potable water. They really need a larger area tho.
Sometimes there are elks walking over the campground . But it's not dangerous as long as you leave them alone.
This was a great place to rent camp for the night.
Don't believe the reservation system if they say the campground is full - walk ins are usually available!
Free Wi-Fi by the showers

Mather Point was great for watching the sunrise on the last day. It wasn't peaceful due to the tourist activity, but it is a great and easy place to get to. - Morgan S
Different times of day....Different times of awesome - Black Heart
Definitely a great overlook. Gas here if absolutely needed. Price per gallon on the high side. Nearby Lipan Point great, especially in morning. - AzScenicTours
This place is awesome. Very clean, showers and convenience store onsite, and just about a mile away from the Visitor Center. Just make sure you make your reservations early enough. - Maximo Scheker
campground is ok, little crowded though. Wifi isn't available, power and water are - Jesse w
A beautiful and lesser traveled trail (than Bright Angel Trail). Best to hike early in morning or later in day as gets very hot! Plenty of room to walk around the few mule droppings. - Shelley Carlisle
The Grand Canyon is one of those places that must see before you die. The park seems to be well maintained for the people who visit. Beautiful view. Just loved this place. Will visit again soon.!! - Adam Michael Sacks
Great place to grab essentials when in Grand Canyon National Park. Everyone working there is super friendly! Clean bathrooms around the corner. - Erin Shea
