We loved this place!! I'm not a fan of crab cakes but theirs was really good. The lobster in the picture went so well with the rice . Even our pasta dish was delicious. Highly recommend Galyn's.

Really lovely meal! We shared a bunch of appetizers , the standouts were the stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes . The lobster salad was also excellent! It was my birthday and they comped dessert for us!

Nab a second floor window seat for some nice views of the harbor . Lobster biscuits were puff pastry in lobster cream sauce . Blueberry and apple crumble was superb. Good ways to start and finish meal

There were so very MANY things wrong with our dinner : 1) the multiple pieces of shell we found in the crab cake appetizer ; 2) wine was room temp; 3) lobster linguine had zero taste and chewy lobster .

Seafood here is lovely. Not as great as some of the other restaurants - but still good. Salmon special was very chargrilled. Prawn linguine was very nice.

From a local: best restaurant in Bar Harbor! They offer blue cheese crumble for salads . Bar Harbor burger is unreal and the tomato olive linguine is delicious!!

Sit on the balcony or the adjacent room for a great view of the park and harbor . Great for people watching .

Tip: If you want lobster , definitely come for the early bird special . It's worth the $16. Otherwise, go somewhere else. Their signature lobster pastries was cold and over cooked.
