I’m almost enter to dubai at 2000, after 18years of living here still I’m not feeling that we are a part of these much improvement and motivation in front of locals and still we are foreigners ????????????

U have to come opening time at 7.30 am otherwise u wait more more :)

Keep multiple photocopies, photographs handy...do check with the document/copy shops (typing centers) around before you go in..the procedures do tend to change once in a while and this saves time

Coffee shops are inside the main building, Gate 1. Online Services Section is accessible from outside Gate 2, next to the double road .

Also u can use RTA app and register all your cars and simply pay it without the need to remember the zone codes.

It's much less busy than before. I would suggest paying for 2 hours parking at once.

Make sure you reach as early as possible to get your process started asap. They open at 7:30am

Try to get the process sorted out in your mind first with respect to documents, procedures etc..it could be quite confusing and if not for a few helpful people there a whole lot arduous

Finding a parking is near impossible, opt for the metro or public transport

Very helpful and supportive officers . Hope all departments will be same very soon !!!!! 

For visa stamping, AED 20 for 2-3 days (normal). AED 130 for same day stamping (urgent).

Waiting times are extreme, and unlike pretty much every other government service office , this one is staffed by very unfriendly and unhelpful people. Happiness index -10.

One of the slower places to process things. Long queues and largely unfriendly staff . Would consider another location unless you absolutely have to come here.

So many people... Was waiting for 2 hours in the line to be told not to ask questions if you don't have the paper....

You can only cash in the refund deposit cheque in Commercial Bank of Dubai at DNRD branch.

Don't forget to renew parking fees if you are staying over time

The token system is fast and furious now days

Early the better.... opens @ 8am to 8pm

They're fast. Things slow down (foot traffic) after 2pm.
