I will always love this part of Oxford. Many happy memories and so much on offer. Food. Drinks. Punts . Views . Walks and a little bit of the good life every time you visit.
The Wind in the Willows & Ratty & Mole immediately sprung to mind when myfriendslike visited Cherwell Boathouse. The restaurant has a seasonal menu , with warming dishes perfect for these wintery days!
Great views of punting and ducks from the terrace , and delightful food and service. Sophisticated but laid back riverside restaurant .
Excellent food and nice view of the river . Punting optional.
Great for punting in lovely surrounds but beware novices! ???? Also good restaurant . Decent food.
Well cooked seasonal food in a lovely setting. Good variety in a considered menu.
Do use your pole as a rudder after a stroke! It makes it so much easier; also if the pole gets stuck, let go!!
The osso buco melts right off the bone.
Very nice place and food.
Lovely service
If you get the pole stuck in the mud then just twist it first before pulling it up.
Not so good if any of your party have dietary requirements
