Star-Spangled Site: This museum has artifacts from one of the gunboats of the Chesapeake Flotilla, which was in the battles of St Leonard Creek, June 8-10 and June 26 in 1814.
Patuxent River Appreciation Day is a lot of fun--you can get fossils identified by experts (no charge) and get free boat rides .
