Wonderful, incredibly well organized museum . It's very near from museo botero and casa da moneda. You may take a day to visit this museums , and walk in Candelaria neighborhood .
You can't miss a visit to this museum if you go downtown. The circular rooms will leave you speechless. A real gem.
A must see. Entrance fee is only about $1 US. After you come out, head across the park to the Avianca building and visit the Emerald museum on the 23rd floor. You'll need picture ID to get in.
Gold Museum is truly beautiful, the history of how we found all these gold masterpieces is known worldwide. I really recommend visiting this museum in the morning! Other amazing museums very close by.

Extraordinary place ! Never seen something similar. A number one location in Bogota.
Best is the 3rd floor room where all the gold behind glass illuninates for a brief 5 minute + the Raft which is tucked away in a tiny room. Its just ok for me.
Home to impressive gold artifacts of pre-Columbian metallurgy—go to the shop/resto (1st floor), see items from prehispanic Columbia (2nd), and marvel at The Flying Chamanic and The Offering (3rd).

Hermoso museo , muy grande. Te recomiendo llegar con buen tiempo para que puedas apreciar todo con calma . Abren a las 10 y cierran a las 6, cierran los lunes.

Un imperdible de Bogotá. La colecciones son muy bonitas, es una lástima que la historia de cada pieza no sea tan certera pues la colección en su mayoría fue comprada. Aún así se disfruta mucho.
