Go past the lighthouse when driving (almost as if you were leaving the lighthouse ) for more parking .

The $7 parking fee is worthwhile if you are making a short stop in Byron Bay. The view is spectacular, especially from Captain Cook's lookout.

Bring $7 cash for parking . If you don't have cash the gift shop has EFTPOS and will sell you a ticket

Absolutely worth a visit when youre in Aussie. But probably better during the autumn..

Bike up to the top and score the best view .

Parking at the top of the hill is $7 for cars, $3 for motorcycles. Well worth it on a hot day; otherwise, park at the bottom and walk it (slowly).

Get the mango and macadamia ice cream from the top!

Driving up? Read the fine print ! Disappointing how if you want to enjoy a sunset & ur car is parked near the lighthouse , it'll cost $40 to be let out by an exploititive security co of Gangsters! ;-o

Great walk up to the Lighthouse via Watego's, but if you are running would recommend running up via road and down along the track .
