Beach parking lets you park for free for 10-15 minutes if you tell them you are going to the lighthouse .

Great beach but arrive early! Lot is small and fills up very fast. One car out, one car in once full but rangers allow groups to head in while one waits to park . Lighthouse views are fantastic!

Scenic beach with the iconic lighthouse . Parking lot fills up quickly during the tourist season. Waves crashed right at a dense strip of rocks along the coast. Unsure if that's usual.

Lighthouse is compact and adorable. Great beach with large sand dunes and gray seals off shore (presumably followed closely by white sharks ).

Pack light, you don't want to have to make more than one trip on the stairs between parking lot and the sand.

Surprisingly, 58F water doesn't scare the seals away, which in turn, doesn't scare the sharks away. Wait until low tide and try to find the remnants of the old lighthouse .
