A Canberra institution (first licensed outdoor venue in Aus!). Great atmosphere, though the food quality varies, they still have some great options (gluten free stuff ).

The veggie big breakfast is great, even for meat eaters! Very packed on weekends though, and they are reluctant to take bookings .

The soup of the day is a great value meal, but you'll need an extra serve of bread .

Tilley's has the air of a 20's jazz club no matter what time of day you're hear. It's an oasis in the bland nothingness of Canberra's northern suburbs with good coffee , food and (tragically trad) jazz

Coffee was ordinary, pancakes were below average, but the eggs and bacon were great. The jazzy music was unique and made for a nice atmosphere. Made me want to dance with/for my breakfast .
