【北海道有形文化財】「鰊漁場建築 」…元は明治30年に西積丹の古宇郡 泊村 に建てられたものですが、昭和33年(1958)に北海道炭鉱汽船が現在地に移築復元しました。
積雪のある11月の後半から4月初めにかけては毎年積雪閉館となります。
昔の建築 物だからか、天井の高さが180cmくらい（6尺？）しかない部分が結構ある。身長の高い人は要注意
