Walk to the northern end of the island for the best shelling . Tent campers will have little privacy, but the beach access is great. Loggerhead turtles love nesting here & there are ranger programs.

Loved the campsites ! So well maintained! Very nice bath house too! It was cold this weekend and the bath house was SOOO warm!

Pray for an ocean breeze . The no-see-ums can get bad. Walk to the far northern end for the best shelling .

If you ever get the chance to see the turtles nest it is really a great experience.

Camp on rustic tent area if you enjoy hiking or the beachside camping area if you plan to fish the inlet. Beachside campground locks your car in or out at 6pm

Beautiful but primitive. Limited hookups, no laundry facilities. Nice staff , large bath house . Two campgrounds , only one is t the beach . There is a grocery on the island but it is very expensive .

Site 61 63 and 8 all get the breeze from the ocean if you are tent camping
