Really great food and cozy atmosphere . Upscale standup bar and eatery , would try to get here early. Japanese only menu, but were extremely accommodating allowing us to order by pictures of their food.

Because of upscale standing Japanese foods and sake bar , reservation is recomended. Signature menu is creamy crab croquette and Karasumi (dried mullet roe ) soba . Photo is a small duck pot.

Should not have problems getting a place here after 9.30pm - no reservations except for the single 4-seat table.
Anago is delicate and subtle
Most unfriendly place in Tokyo thus far. They only cater to locals and did not care for foreigner. We were turned away for no apparent reason w/ bad attitude when there were spaces in the restaurant .
からすみ蕎麦 が想像以上に美味しい。1人だとハーフにもしてもらえるみたいです。
旬 菜コース ¥6000上質 な和食 を日本酒 とともに。アラカルト だとポーション大きめですが、コース だと一人前づつ適量で出てくるのでちょうど良いボリューム感。〆はこちらの名物カラスミそば 。
