It's been a Portland fine-dining institution for a quarter century and Larry Matthews has been a part of it for most of those years. Great food and an award-winning wine list . [Eater 38 Member]

Wonderful find in Portland. The duck two ways is incredible. Pair it with the Volnay Pinot and you'll be on cloud nine. The salmon preparation is equally as intricate. Oh and Get The Crab Cake !
You cannot go wrong with anything you order, seriously. And, if you like fun martinis , order an espresso martini . Hands down the best we've ever had.
The service is outstanding, but let's not forget the food! Agnolotti comes highly recommended, wine list is great with very reasonable prices.
Perfectly prepared dishes and outstanding service . Lovely place for a special dinner . :)
Recommended by local chef Erik Desjarlais: "Chef owner Larry Matthews Jr. has a simple, elegant approach to not reinventing the wheel. His Duck Two Ways is a lesson in flavor composition."
