Pigtown, also called Washington Village, is a neighborhood in southwest Baltimore, bordered by Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to the east, Monroe Street on the west, Russell Street/Baltimore-Washington Parkway on the south, and the B&O Railroad Museum on West Pratt Street on the north.

The birthplace of Babe Ruth. Pigtown got it's nickname name from the scores of pigs that were herded through its narrow streets every day on their way to be slaughtered in local meat-packing plants.

Pigtown festival is fun last year my son Ronnie enter a rib eating contest. And loved it.
Sunny has some of the best chicken and fish subs . Nicks has good food all over.
Nick's has good fried fish and chicken . Also the subs are great too.....
