A beautiful get away. If you’re up for it, bike around the entire lake , which is around 19 miles up and down the mountain . Very thrilling and an incredible workout with some solid views .

Largest lake in Taiwan , great tourist attraction . You can see sunrise and sunset here. But swimming is forbidden, except for the 3km annual race.

Buy the super combo ticket - it's worth it. Also, rent a bike with the voucher and/or take a walk around parts of the lake :) climbing up to the pagoda is worth it - 360 view !!

Lake itself is really pretty and water has a nice color. You can walk or bike ???? around the lake . There is no swimming area ????. There are some basic boat tours but they look kinda lame

If you're a jogger. Get up at 5 am and jog. The scenery is amazing combined with the cool temperature of the lake .

Very touristy but also beautiful. Biking here is overrated and the hiking trails are not worth it either. Just relaxing and the views and temples are nice.

Tons of tour buses ...thousands of tourists ...even on rainy days. But Sun Moon black tea & the Grandmother eggs are worth it.
