Executive floors (top 4 levels) are very nice (spacious and quiet ). Good breakfast selection on 2nd floor breakfast area. Executive area breakfast (top floor) has smaller selection but nice view .

The room is not my fave but quite 1 of nicest that I ever stayed in shanghai. Love this hotel cause of the free wifi !!! Nice lobby area too :D In the centre of shanghai :)

Nice 5 star hotel . Strategically located along 南京步行街。Easy to find food. Very accessible (only 200-300 metres away from the metro line ). Recommended hotel for tourists in shanghai.

The hotel is very good in location and interior looks grand however, the bed is really hard and its basically squeeking when sleep on it. Not 5 Star standard!

Center of Shanghai - near Nanjing road , People's Square etc. Old hotel , old furniture , small rooms. Free Wi-Fi (slow&unstable). Bad breakfast (only chinese food , small choice). Not 5-stars standard.

Chinese 5 stars = outdated with extremely poor service! Excellent location. In real 3*.

The room is awfully hot! Windows are open yet still very stuffy.. Wonder if is the same in all other room. I was in room 1220.. It's 12*C outside but it feels like 32*C in the room :(

If your room is bad, ask for another. Our first room was awful -- dirty carpet, dirty walls -- we asked to be moved and the second room was much nicer!
