Local entrepreneur Joe Larter put together a small collection of attractions which included little more than a miniature railway, Cine 180 building and a Fort Fun adventure playground .
Leave your fears at home and brave the 140 drop on the Jolly Roger! You will see the park in a whole new way from up there! You may even see your house!
We're opening March 29th 2013 with FOUR new attractions coming this year including; great family rides with Moby Dick, The Tea cups, and Family Pedalos. - And then there's Hobs Pit.
In 1995 the parks tag line and general theme changed from a focus on Pleasurewood Hills being an "American Theme Park " to a "Family Theme Park "

Pleasurewood Hills American Theme Park opened its gates to the public for the first time in 1982.

Contrary to other tips, we found staff helpful and very small queues. Although weather was not great for 3rd week in July.
If you use Tesco vouchers then it's worth it. Otherwise it would be bad value for money

Staff ain't too bad, stopped the rides when we asked if the kids got upset.

As my kid wasn't 1.25 m he didn't get half of the rides...lol he was just 1 cm smaller...soooooo disappointed :/
Trying to relive your childhood is usually disappointing. Be forewarned

Some of the male staff were EXTREMELY rude to small children and the whole family which really put everyone off :( we went on a school day and the place was almost empty :)
Not your usual amusements - all are hand made and well looked after. Take a look at the water clock mid pier too! Two good cafes and shops. Some shelter too on windy days. - Ian Patterson
