If you're there solely for the big rides such as G-Force and Shockwave then get there early. I managed both of them three times within the first half an hour of the park opening :)
Get there early. The zoo opens at 9am (90mins before the rides) and queues are short for rides before 11:30am (ish).
School hols very busy ! Queues for 1 hr on most rides inc Thomas land . Zoo is rubbish ! Wouldn't pay full price book online a lot cheaper or 2 for 1 tickets
Awesome place, always have a fun time here. Staff are friendly and great too.
Great theme park for the young ones with main attraction being Thomas Land

The park gates open long before the rides do, giving ample time to look around the zoo . It'd be a waste not to see the interesting animals.
Food at the hotel is really surprisingly good! Excellent in fact!
Buy the tickets online and print them at home to save money and get in the park faster.
A good mix of things to do for all ages!
If you're planning on coming a few times in a year then a season ticket is excellent value!
The Lakeside teashop is great for snacks and tea . Recommend the Baked potato with beans.
Only go in school weeks,the school holidays will be packed :).

As of July 2014 there are two baby Meerkats in the zoo .
Kinda childish compared to other theme parks ; but still a decent, cheaper day out.
Total chaos - onesies as far as the eye can see, traffic gridlocked, police on site due to 'an incident'. Apart from that, fine.
Watch for idiots in car par. As soon as people go through the gate, the seem to loose the ability to read simple signs
Good theme park . My 5-year old daughter enjoy the day out here.

Go Father's Day & Mother's Day. The parks empty !

Brilliant for kids who love Thomas, lots of rides to choose from. Dinosaurs & animals too. Also Drayton Manor theme park, if you visit during the season you can ensure everyone has a great day out. - Mike Corsten
