I would move in and live here if I could. That's how in love with this place I am. Authentic Irish pub atmosphere. The prices versus portions can't be beat. Great food specials and beer selection .

Not a bad little Irish pub . Good food (black and blue salad was great) and they had some great Irish tunes on while I was there.

First, incredible number of beers . Second, I've been searching for a good burger . Ugly Oyster has one of the two best hamburgers , may well be the best, so far.

Oysters were great. Crab cakes were average.My friend liked the fish and chips . Nice Guinness pours. Definitely a place to check out if you're in the area.

Raw oysters were delicious and reasonably priced. Bathrooms are old and cramped, but that's not an issue. Also, their glasses are cool and they sell them for just $3.

Great food and great service. Depending on what event is going on in Reading, you have to make a reservation .

Apparently Reading has no idea what the Great Guinness Toast is (3rd Fri of every February). And no Irish music in an Irish bar ? Strange. Packed on a Friday night.

Hands down my favorite place to eat in Reading.

Careful. If you are butt endowed, some of their chairs are very small and very uncomfortable. And I mean small. Like I'm not huge but I couldn't get my bum all the way in.

Great food and huge portions !

Crab cakes : eat them. You won't be sorry. Unless you have a seafood allergy, in which case you'll be dead.
