My haddock was delicious, but the real stars of the night was waiting staff . If you'll be lucky enough to be served by Eve, then follow her recommendations. She knows! Ta :)
Last night was my first time in Gloucester and with some friends we went to The Bumble Bee, sounded like a cool place. Warning: if you're young (19-24), expect condescending 'customer service'...
It wasn't very busy. Quick service at the bar and food came out quickly. Food was good. I asked for no chips on my plate, the staff easily dealt with my request.
Not a bad little pub . Drinks reasonably priced. Didn't try the food but it looked great
Food is very good, but the service is a bit slow.

The sesame chicken with flat bread are great
The staff are friendly & the food is good. But service is very slow, not enough staff !!
They should bring back the old menu, the old breaded mushrooms were the best, I travel down from Manchester for them now they are in a beer batter they are just not the same :(
No wifi ? Get with it!
So slow service on Monday evening, need Gordon Ramsay, never thought I would say that
First visit and the food and staff were very pleasant.-4 outside but still had ceiling fans going because of a few bats co habiting. If your cold stay away from the seating in the middle. - David Godwin-Lear
Modern, family, friendly pub. Good mix of goid food and great real ales. - Carl Griffin
