A gem of all South Florida outdoor experiences. Engage volunteers , they are knowledgable and happy to help explain the Everglades ecosystem. You can borrow strollers for young ones. Bring water!!

Wonderful spot for seeing natural south Florida . In summer, when it rains lots, you'll enjoy it more if you wear footgear with soles that give you good traction. The boardwalk can get really slippery.
Great time of the year to go is March/April. Water levels are low, so wildlife congregates for better viewing .
My daughter loves birds and this place is a must stop each time we are in Naples.
Very well kept sanctuary with very knowledgeable staff to answer any of your questions.
Great place to visit. Hilight is the lettuce lakes . We saw most of the wildlife at these lakes on the trail .

Lovely trail with helpful volunteers to give us tips.
It was too dry when we went. No water anywhere and we didn't see any wild life. Still nice to see. Have to pay to get in and they close at 5:30.
Also goto CrewTrust.org hiking trails :)
Be sure to look for deer in the area just before the entrance.
Great Charley Harper exhibit/sale currently in the Center!
They say you don't need bug spray, but I'd put some on anyway. We were eaten alive by mosquitoes!
This place is like heaven on earth!

Parts of these trails are are pretty wet & muddy, but oh so beautiful. We were lucky to see many Pine Lily's in bloom on our visit. Saw no panthers but did see 2 rather large Cottonmouth snakes. - Mary Schaperow
The best short hike in the larger Everglades area! - T S
