If you looked up "tourist trap" in a dictionary you will see a picture of Tombstone, AZ. When you get over your Wyatt Earp/Doc Holiday obsession go to Bisbee for a more authentic experience.

Everything costs here. So talk with some of the locals in costume , they can give you tips on how to save money. Don't miss the Bird Cage . The Crystal Palace has an amazing bar and good food.

All I could keep saying while we walked around the city was "I'm your Huckleberry !". Boot Hill was interesting, OK Corral & city streets all attempted to keep themselves in the 1800's.

This is a fascinating historical town with lots of interesting places, gunfight reenactments & restaurants .

The town is a lot fun. Bird Cage , mining tour and ghost tours are fun and worth the time.

This is a must do if you live here or if you are visiting! There is a lot to do here! Very cool old west town !!!

Nice buildings but the town is a giant tourist trap that perpetuates the wrong myths of the west.

Virgil's Corner Bed&Breakfast is a great place to stay!

So gimmicky but worth every penny! Skip the OK Coral show. Painful.

The town itself is kind of a tourist trap. But the (free) Tombstone Epitaph newspaper museum is kind of neat, with its old type and printing presses.
