Great hidden location , definitely put on your list to visit when in York. Outside mediterranean court yard feeling with cosy atmosphere for couples. 5 stars from me.
Real hidden gem - the courtyard area is super cozy , with fairy lights and patio heaters. Settle down and enjoy.
Really great vibe with a cool courtyard area . Something of a hidden gem . Food decent and substantial.
Lovely courtyard hidden right in the centre of town . Huuge portions!

The drinks are amazing, best blue gin I’ve ever tasted
Good cheap food - great atmosphere for a catch up with friends
Go for desserts ! Waffle & brownie (fresh!) to dip in caramel and chocolate dips . With vanilla ice cream .

Ask for Tony, he makes the best cocktails
Lovely courtyard and still warm!
Had the chilli burger . Can recommend.
Great specials. Reserved spaces for the world cup . Well behaved dogs allowed in beautiful courtyard .

Pasteles de carne
Hidden away down a narrow street just off Micklegate. Tends to be quiet outside peak times & seasons. A good range of pumps including real ales from small breweries. A recent local CAMRA award winner. - Dave Milne
Superb sympathetic refurbishment done Spring 2013 makes this great historic and welcoming pub score 5/5 in our book. Good beer, cosy nooks and crannies and great Minster views from the beer gardens. - Gazz (Roaming the Ridings)
Great venue for intimate shows that also serves good beer. But parking in a street nearby is a better plan than trying to squeeze into the tiny car park. Can also get ridiculously hot when full. - Dave Milne
The Chimichanga is to die for!! Really good food and friendly staff :) - Donna-Marie Speirs
The extra £5 to go up the tower is definitely worth it - beautiful views. The Minster itself is of course wonderful. - James Gooch
Lovely food. Good salad, sausages and mash. All food is cooked fresh, so there is a slight wait but well worth it. - SimoN DavieS
