Opens at 8am though alcohol is only served after 9am. As with all Wetherspoons, it offers great value food and real ales .
Bit grim, but the beer 's good and the staff are friendly .
It's a little difficult getting served late morning/early afternoon Saturdays. Be prepared to wait. Saying that, the prices and quality of food make it worth waiting.
