Castle Ward’s farmyard is the location of Winterfell for series one of Game of Thrones . Also found here: Whispering Wood, Robb Stark’s Camp, the Baelor battle & when Brienne confronts the Stark men.

No denying it's a beautiful place. Downside, the signage for the trails is not easy to find or follow. The Google maps on the website brings you in the wrong road , follow the big brown sign instead.

If you stay at the caravan park in a pod, tent or caravan , you can wander around the grounds for free!
