This a great place, VERY interesting, wonderful for kids. Very educational about trains and railroads. Be sure to check out the old luxury train cars, they are awesome. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Everything about the museum was awesome! The site is large with lots to see and do.
Had a great time! Loved the train ride ,even though its short , and loved looking at the restored rail cars!
Excellent transportation museum complete with a vintage diesel locomotive train ride !
Train ride was excellent for the money. I purchased a ticket to ride in locomotive cab during the ride. I will remember for the rest of my life!
Besides trains they have older cars, fire trucks , and planes too!
The train ride is not all it's cracked up to be. Just goes about a mile down the track , then backs up, and not much to see along the track . Save the money and enjoy all the free exhibits .
Due to state budget cutbacks, the museum now charges admission. $10 for adults, which includes train ride ticket. More info on the museum 's website.
