Plenty of atm 's now, cc also ok, even at the not so big hotel where I stay (79 living)

Good place for photography . Still not very developed with no credit cards accepted and ATMs are pretty limited. Just is the official currency but US$ is widely acceptable in many establishment.

Not my cup of tea , rather consider to walk over the U bein bridge the worlds longest teak structure at 1.2 km long, across the Taungthaman Lake .
