Small but very fun amusement park w/ classic wooden coaster on a beautiful lake . Some other classic & rare flat rides too (rock-o-plane, roll-o-plane, madhouse, tilted walk through), & much more.
The Legend roller coaster was designed by John A. Miller, called the Thomas Edison of the roller coaster for over 100 patents and 140 coasters he created. This is one of the few surviving.
The Rock-O-Plane or upside-down-Ferris wheel is one of my favorite rides of any theme park ! Try to rock your way into “continuous spin mode”, I don’t recommend keeping change in your pockets on this.
Locals can purchase family passes that are good all season. Great deal if you have children. AND, if you visit on the 4thh of July, the whole family will enjoy fireworks over the lake !
Great place to play the musical instruments and a great place to sit on the Questers park bench . We had great bacon with nuts on it.
For roller coaster enthusiasts riding The Legend is a must. It's the 13th oldest running roller coaster in the U.S. making its debut in 1927.
Get the all day wrist band for the kids. Find a shady bench and let the kids have a ball.
Maxwell's Beach Cafe , Casually elegant dining featuring steaks , seafood , pasta and many gourmet dishes; full bar , wine and beer ; heated patio
An Iowa icon. Be sure to hit up the roller coaster ! While you're at it, make sure that no jack-wad flips off the camera .
Making new memories with my kids...
Always fun in the summer!
Not much fun if you're above the age of 10.
Wooden roller coaster awesome.
Some rides have height restrictions.
This place is over priced, have rude employees, is poorly run, and just plain ridiculous. Really disappointed!
Take a cruise on the second largest natural lake (and the deepest) in the state of Iowa. Enjoy some cold drinks, feed popcorn to seagulls, and maybe even tug the horn of the beautiful Queen II ship. - Erik Rowley
It's a short ride for $5 per person but it's still fun. - A
Beautiful Lake views. Nice out door tables for our group of 5 that night. Great sandwiches and malts for the gang. Good french fries. Go - Colleen Lemkuil
