The pool is for free and connects directly with the esplanade. Relax in the water while watching the sunset ! Lot's of BBQ places around.
Come here on a Saturday and you will find markets , free live music and sunlovers just having a great time. Great atmosphere on a Saturday!

Popular hang out for people/back packers who don't want to shell out for a boat trip out to the reef. Quite nice just sitting around on the grass. It's not sand, but it's the next best thing.
