Paid $4.50 and all I get is noodle and fishcakes . I even asked for without cockles and in another outlet, they would replace with other toppings . Never gna buy from this outlet again.
Did u know laksa means 10,000 in Indonesian, ref 2 d many strands of vermicelli noodles in dish? Others think name came fr Cantonese "spicy sand", or "dirty " in Hokkien. Source: SG Infopedia+Wikipedia
turn left, walk to Rocovo kopitiam and look for the fishball noodle stall instead. her laksa is more lemak and you can order with mee tai mak.
Lakes is nice... Lots of cockles .. Most importantly, the food are @ reasonable price.. And the staff are friendly too!!
Try the nasi lemak as well ..
The gravy 's thin, the noodles too starchy. The chopsticks are a dead giveaway to stay away. This is hardly the original.
Bencoolen's katong laksa is also nice!
