Definitely try to go for the Sunset Ceremony . It's a bit British oriented, which is understandable given the history of the place

This is a seriously cool place. You can feel the history all around you, as soon as you arrive. They have Fright nights around Halloween and historical reenactments shows in the summertime .

Tours are necessary to get a full experience of life at the Fort for the common soldier. Some guides are better than others. There is minimal interpretation signage. Food is passable.

It was closed for the season when we got there but you can see the canons on top of the walls and lookout towers all around it
