Canteen , the MAC's restaurant and cafe , is a great spot to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon . Arrive early, work your way through the wine list , then stay for dinner . Lovely.

£7.50 gets you perhaps the best pulled pork sandwich in town . No scrimping on the sweet BBQ pork , and a properly baked, rustic half-baguette. The crunch on those chips echoes for eternity.

You can order pourover coffee and they'll actually bring a full Chemex to the table. Good for about 4 cups, and it's a pretty decent roast too. Superb.

Amazing family room beside the lifts, easily overlooked but great for meeting people when you have kids attached to you. Beautiful books and vitra furniture .

Hopefully they'll take our suggestions on board and offer Bloody Marys and introduce a brunch menu til maybe 3pm for all us sunday slackers out there! But thanks for adjusting the Espresso Mactini!

Belfast's premier arts venue. The Canteen served excellent food and is a regular calling point for us on a Saturday afternoon .

If you're a tea drinker you'd do well to sample their Belfast Shipbuilders Tea : strongest tea you're likely to taste! Sure to warm you up.

Beautiful building, worth a visit just to see it. Not a lot of art , though.

Don't sit in row G. The seats are just to high above the ground and this forces your legs to touch the ground with their toes meaning you will have really sore calfs the next morning.

If you take a dump on level 3 you have to watch yourself in a full length mirror on the door. Avoid or seek out depending on your disposition

Fine for coffee and the curious Ovaltine slice. Not so great for exhibits lately.

Everything is absolutely beautiful, so if you can, get round everything!
