Fun visit. Everybody in Leicester is so proud to be the burial place of Richard III and this museum shows this well . However, it also highlights that this claim to fame is rather tenuous and forced.
An interesting museum detailing the history of the Plantagenet royal family, culminating in the Battle of Bosworth and the death of King Richard III.
It's informative and gives good background for and against Richard. The information is geared more towards children so great for families
Great job explaining Richard III's life, death and excavation of his grave.
The visitor centre is an informative look at Richard III and is well worth a visit.

Hidden behind De Montfort University. Really great use of a historical building. Has exhibits on the building itself, the world wars, and Leicester history. The back garden is lovely to sit in. - Kate Burton
Ask the front of house staff to borrow a free audio tour of the bathsite, or download it from the website before you go. - Laura Hadland
