If you're looking for a great family outing , try Family Day at the park in late August. The day-long event has fun activities for all ages, especially younger children.
There are some great trails in the park ! Good for all ages. Be sure to bring a sweatshirt.
Be sure not to park the car under the tree .. Those falling sugar cone can kill you..
Enjoy the light walk in the North Grove and experience the awesomeness of the giant sequoias. Lots of good trails too!

The stairs are so small and can be slippery bit the historical tours are a great adventure and a must to explore just be careful driving up as it's very narrow - Brian Ibarra
