They have an awesome pet safety rule -- bring them inside instead of leaving them unattended in car. Huge thanks to VCS for looking out for furry customers! Just don't let Rover eat the ornaments. :)

If you visit during leaf-peeping season, especially on a weekend, expect to be shoulder-to-shoulder inside the store, especially closer to the front. Arrive early to have some breathing room.

Chockablock with everything you need and what you don't: country nightgowns, cedar balls, Vermont syrup , and fudge . Amazing for souvenirs

Make sure you leave plenty of time to explore this massive store. I suggest starting in the back and working your way to the front.

This is the culmination of all things Vermont. This store is WAY better than the new one by the highway. Set aside plenty of time to play, eat, and explore!
