Romantic picnics ....lake views ...trails and even late at night fireflies come out. My boyfriend even turned up the music in his car and we danced with them :-) magical ♡♡♡

I love it here! I love going by the lake ...if you go late you have to make sure your out of the park by 9. Me and my boyfriend were locked in once.

This is a beautiful campground - the 'older' section of the campground is just as nice as the 'new' and has a better bathhouse. Lots of space to walk the pup here & a beautiful marsh overlook.

Very calm park on the Lake Pontchartrain shores. Nice views and sunsets

You can go to trails and see owl sitting on the tree if you are as lucky as I am :)

Really nice trails for cub scouts. They loved the crabs in the alligator marsh area.

Went to the beach , skipped some stones, great view ! Definitely a great time

Had a wild hog roaming through the camp site today.three of us tied it up, ranger took it, but not before it pissed all over us. Great scent that won't come off.

Take a tour with Stave from the visitor's center. He's awesome. Watch the trail for snakes.
