Good lunch stop on the High Toad. Come early to get a table, the carne adovada is pretty decent.
Prickly pear lemonade was delicious. Such kind accommodating service. Delicious authentic mexican food ; can’t go wrong with anything on the menu
The only thing I'd recommend are their sopapillas . We tried four of their lunch specials (flautas , enchiladas , tacos , and chile rellenos ) but they were all bland and lacked flavor.
Most everything on the menu is delicious, especially the huevos rancheros .
This is one of my Top 10 favorite restaurants in the world. No joke. The prickly pear lemonade is fantastic!
Don't get me wrong, this place is a classic - but they need to step up their game. Otherwise, you get average Mexican food in an average atmosphere. Avoid the carne asada , do the sopapillas .
The Indian fried bread is to dye for! Service is friendly . Worth the stop.
