This handsome village pub looks much the same as it would have when it was built from mellow Cotswold stone some 400 years ago, and inside is just as characterful with oak floors, open fires, good old furniture, and prints, plants and rugs aplenty.

Big airy pub , friendly staff who know their locals but welcome all. Good Sunday roasts , with mountainous yorkshire puddings and an extensive "cater for all" menu (2 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Great pub with very good food. I particularly recommend the braised pig cheeks!
Food is usually good but Avoid the Fish Stew . At £16.95 I expected a lot more than Heinz Tomato Soup with some onions , muscles (still in a closed shell), a single prawn and a couple of bits of fish ????
Crispy beef salad was delicious, good range of real ale .
Stopped here for lunch many times. Always good value .
Great Beer , food and service. Brilliant!
Good garden for a summers day....
Have anything, it's all great
