The former Hilton Newark/Freemont became the DoubleTree in May, 2014. Still work going on but the new room designs are more sleek & modern with a cool circuit trace carpet design for Silicon Valley.
Since the reflag (from Hilton), the remodel has really improved the hotel and 880 restaurant .
Honestly nothing I got hear half hour early before checking in they charge $25 for early check in by the way check in is at 4 pm here also they charge for WiFi and breakfast no good use Marriott

The pool is really nice - however be warned that the hotel building is so tall that mid-afternoon the sun disappears entirely behind the building. So the pool loses all sunshine. - Dan
